Ahhh, Ti Couz. Everyone I've brought here has fallen for you, just as I did when friends brought me here years ago. Though I've tried, I cannot reproduce the magnificent mushroom sauce at home. I adore that sauce with scallops for my savory crepe of choice. I've sampled many other savory crepes here, and the egg crepes are surprisingly good (a great choice for brunchers who lean more towards breakfast). You can't go wrong with the smoked salmon crepe either, with the creme fraiche melting into each bite.

Sweet crepes are fantastic, and I'm often found with a chocolate with raspberry sorbet crepe at the end of the meal. If you're all creped out by then, go for one of the desserts in a glass. My friend's favorite - the Belle Helene with caramel instead of chocolate. It's a pear-and-caramel fantasy, with a tasty cookie.

I've enjoyed the French Onion soup, as well as a small cheese plate. They have greatly expanded the menu over the past few years, but we always stick to the basics.

No reservations are taken here, and the wait can be quite lengthy at peak times - so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and a smile to help pass the time.

Food: 7 - amazing mushroom sauce is a great match for the buckwheat savory crepe, scallop crepe overflowing with baby scallops. Dessert crepes are fantastic, and those served in a glass are great too. Minor note - only carbonated beverage is Orangina (which I enjoy!). Pear cider is a tasty beverage choice.
Ambience: 5 - very cozy. Tables are extremely close together, and bar seating can sometimes have you nearly on your neighbor's lap. No reservations, so crowd waiting near door can sometimes get distracting.
Service: 5 - can be spotty, depending on server. Crepes are fantastically fresh though, which makes up for a lot!
Overall: 7 - if there's not a long wait, it's definitely a great spot for a late lunch or early dinner. The crepes are inventive and darned tasty, and the desserts are to be savored. Easy on the wallet too (good crepes start around $4, and can go up quickly based on additions).
